System Sizing, Pricing, and Quality Comparison
For simplicity we have divided the categories into;
Premium Systems
These systems are comprised from proven, highest quality products and come with a 10 year replacement warranty on all components. Premium systems include, KYOCERA, SHARP, SCHOTT, and SUNPOWER Solar Module systems. These providers are vertically integrated (ie produce all solar module components in house- got to love that industry jargon).
Standard Systems
These systems come with a performance only warranty on the panels, and 10 year Inverter Warranty. In order to prove the panel performance warranty you will need to test your panels at standard test conditions (25 deg and the right amount of sunlight). Inverter replacements may also incur call out and replacement labor and shipping fees.
Our Standard Systems include brands that utilise repackaged silicon wafers from large suppliers such as LDK China. These brands include proven manufacturers with representatives in Australia such as BP, Suntech, Hyundai Heavy Industies, Silex Solar, Solarfun and others. Our Standard pricing also covers vertically integrated Trina Solar module systems.
Choose carefully
When weighing up your system pricing/ sizing options we urge you to consider that you are planning the purchase of a high voltage electric technology that will be exposed to the elements for decades. Deterioration in performance will vary over time between products and you should also consider the company history behind the manufacturers of your chosen Solar modules. Please take the time to explore our Solar System Performance and Income Generation Examples section for more information on this.
Table of Example System Sizing and Pricing
Pricing includes GST, and all extras including but not limited to Grid Connection, Gross Meter installation, delivery and BSCE Accreditated installation charges, electrical certificates, compliance with Australian Standards, REC/Solar Credit and all admin support required to commission your system.
This list is only a fraction of Ausenergy's Systems
The systems listed above are an introduction to some of the varied options available. These basic kits represent less than 1% of the actual options available. Please note that the solar power industry is currently expanding at an unprecedented rate and that supply shortages and price increases for quality (components) are being experienced on an international scale - consequently the selected pricing and system options that you see here may vary daily.
System performance and return on investment
Further details on the return on investment estimates shown in this table are detailed in the System Performance Guide.
